We were so happy to be able to re-visit Clare Primary School with our Reading Ambassadors from SVCS after a lengthy furlough due to Covid. The goal of the project is to collaborate on a number of reading topics with Years 5,6,7 and 8 - this crossover of year groups really helps to show the importance both schools give to reading and its central place in the curriculum. We were made to feel very welcome, and we will be hosting a similar event at SVCS in the Spring term with Year 5 and 6 coming to visit us for stage two of this exciting project.
