Last week saw a Technology & STEM assembly delivered by Mr Stephens & Mr Coe.  Titled 'Happy Little Accidents' and inspired by the work of 70's TV artist Bob Ross, the assembly sought to show students how so frequently mistakes can lead to positive outcomes.  Examples of real life examples of products and inventions being created by accident were detailed including adhesives, Velcro, penicillin and even microwaves.  Students were shown how extra marks can actually be attained through 'failures' in GCSE Technology lessons and encouraged to go out there and embrace their 'Happy Little Accidents'.  The assemblies also featured live portrait painting by Mr Stephens & Mr Coe whilst delivering the assembly; the results can be seen below and will be exhibited to students in the Heartspace this week.
