Staff and pupils at SVCS took part in a yellow-themed non-uniform day on Friday 9th October 2020 and raised a grand total of £598.15 for the mental health charity Young Minds. 

Part of a nationwide campaign by the charity, students were encouraged to donate £1 at the entrance door and were able to wear their own clothes for the day. The theme was "wear yellow" in a bid to show young people that they are not alone with their mental health.
