As part of their annual Remembrance, Stour Valley Community School in Clare were delighted to observe their 2-minute silence by Sgt.Gareth Corpe and Sgt. Michael Jeffs from 6ACC, LCpl Sven Larsen, Airtpr Emmanuel Gbajobi and Airtpr Matthew Pittaway from 3AAC, Nigel Wolstenholme from the Royal British Legion and Keith Reeve, an RAF Veteran and his dog Penny.

The whole school gathered outside and at 11 o’clock fell silent as the bells of St Peter and St Paul’s in Clare chimed. Then the visitors and a party of student members of the Army and Airforce Cadets, Stour Valley Explorers, St John Ambulance, Guides and Scouts lay a wreath.

Remembrance activities continue on Monday when students will attend the Armistice Day Parade in Bury St Edmunds.
