Good morning
The weather conditions this morning have caused a lot of problems for staff and students getting to school. The Met Office are forecasting heavy rain for the rest of the day.
We are contacting the bus companies to see if they can return and collect students.
If you are able to come and collect your child, please do so. Getting staff and students back home as soon and as safely as possible would seem to be the most prudent decision.
Taking this decision now is far from ideal and we are not simply closing the school. We will only release students when you contact us to let us know that you will be collecting, you give someone else permission to collect or you give permission for your child to walk home.
