As you know, we made the difficult decision to close the school on Thursday 02 November. We had kept a close eye on the weather and the condition of the roads over the previous couple of days and had fully intended to keep the school open. However early morning saw the sudden deterioration of travelling conditions which made it difficult, if not impossible, for a number of staff and students to make their way safely into school. With further communication with the bus companies we made the difficult decision to close the school.
At present the school will be open Friday 03 November 2023. However, again we will monitor closely the condition of local roads and the advice of the bus companies. If the situation changes and the school needs to close, then a decision will be made by 7am at the latest.
