Today we had our Spring Enhancement Day and we're very grateful to volunteers who visited our school as well as our own staff, who have provided engaging sessions to enhance our curriculums.

Year 11 students engaged well with their revision sessions and have spent the afternoon in sessions designed to boost their wellbeing.

Year 10 have also had a session giving advice on how to revise, as well as the world of work, a health session run by school nurses on contraception and self-examination and a practice interview with one of our lovely volunteers. They have then spent the afternoon taking part in an escape room.

Year 9 had a visit from Medical Mavericks learning all about careers and technology in health, a session on GCSE options and post-16 options run by a representative from the Eastern Education Group. As well as a session with 'It's on the Ball'. They have then spent the afternoon completing an enterprise task.

Year 8 have either worked brilliantly in completing their CREST award, or have brilliantly taken part in their RS trip, an enterprise challenge and some team games.

Year 7 have further developed their understanding of using AI, puppetry and a STEM raft building challenge as well as a session on puberty run by OM Health and Wellbeing Consultancy.

Our students, staff and providers have exemplified our values of kindness, bravery, ambition and collaboration.
